La Voix (2022)
La Voix is Yure Romão’s first creation, combining theatre, music and literature. With actress Astrid Bayiha and musician Cyril Hernandez, the performance explores a writer’s quest to find her voice through an immersive sound environment and an intimate approach.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
Selected for the fifth edition of the Créations en Cours programme by Ateliers Médicis, Yure Romão undertook an artistic residency in Guadeloupe in 2021. With a Year 5 class, he created a sound installation exploring voice and memory, based on collaborative work with the students.
