Langues de Sable (2026 - ongoing)

Langues de Sable is a research and creation project rooted in my family history, shaped by movements and connections between the Caribbean, South America and Europe. Inspired by the natural phenomenon of sandspits — fragile formations that connect an island to the mainland — the project explores the movement of people, knowledge and practices between different territories.

Langues de Sable unfolds as a first step in the research process: encountering the landscapes and practices that shape sensitive ways of inhabiting a territory.
